Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading mechanical engineering projects ensuring their successful completion within budget and on schedule. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will also be involved in the design development and testing of mechanical systems and components as well as providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion
- Design develop and test mechanical systems and components
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project success
- Conduct research and development activities to improve existing products or develop new ones
- Analyze and interpret data to inform design decisions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or relatedfield
- 5 years of experience in mechanicalengineering
- Proven track record of leading and managingengineering projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanicaldesign and analysis software
- Excellent problemsolvingand analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in ateam environment
- Strong communication and interpersonalskills
- Knowledge of industry standards andregulations
